General Information
Regular school elections take place on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May. For comprehensive information on Montana school elections, consult the Montana School Election Handbook, available from the Montana Office of Public Instruction. Absentee ballot request forms are available upon request at the Park County Clerk and Recorder's Office, 414 East Callender Street Livingston, MT 59047 and at the Livingston School District Administration Office, 129 River Drive, Livingston, MT. 59047.
If you miss the regular registration deadline, you may still register for the election by showing up at the county election office by noon the day before election day.
Board of Trustees
Livingston School Districts 4 &1 board members are elected by simple majority vote, and serve three-year terms. Packets, for those wishing to run as a trustee candidate, are available at the Livingston School District Office, 129 River Drive Livingston, MT 59047 or can be requested via email to [email protected]
The Annual School Trustee Election is held on the first Tuesday in May.
