Hunter Lloyd professor of computer science and robotics visited Park High Tuesday afternoon to give a presentation on gaming development and robotics engineering. As well as being a professor, inventor, and guide into the competitive world of robots, Mr. Lloyd also ventures into the world of stand-up comedy.
In his presentation for the students Tuesday, he shared his journey from creative writing undergrad to an accounting degree, stand-up comedian to a graduate degree, and his career in teaching Computer Science and blending humor and technology. Students were able to see his inventive and creative side through his demonstration of gaming development, robotics programming and engineering, and take in his myriad of jokes.
Thank you, Mr. Lloyd for an informative and enjoyable presentation!
PHS would like to give a big shout-out to Work-Based Learning Coordinator Janine Ensign for setting up the logistics of the presentation at PHS and organizing key opportunities like this for our students to experience.
