On Halloween (Tuesday, October 31st), students will be allowed to wear costumes to school! Below are our costume expectations for this day. We ask that parents/guardians please abide by these expectations so that we can have a safe and fun day at school!
1. Please be sure that your child's costume is age-appropriate.
2. No masks.
3. Weapons of any kind are not permitted.
4. Avoid costumes with fake blood or gore as this might be scary for other children.
5. Remember that students scheduled for Physical Education on the 31st will still have class. Costumes for those students, therefore, should be selected with safety and maneuverability in mind.*Be sure that your child's costume is age-appropriate

*Remember that students will still have recess and some will have PE so select costumes with safety and maneuverability in mind
Students will participate in a Fall Festival in the afternoon and there will be a costume contest for students with six winners in every grade.
Students are permitted to wear costumes to school on Tuesday, October 31st.

*Remember that students will still have class that may require moveability, we ask that the costume does not interfere with any learning for the day and can be easily manipulated should the class activity require it.
